SADDLE BROOK, N.J. – As Saddle Brook celebrates its 300th anniversary, the township looks back on important events.

On Nov. 8, 1942, an unveiling ceremony of a large billboard containing all the names of the local men and women serving in the armed forces at the time was held on the grounds of the former Lincoln School.

The billboard was known and dedicated as the Township of Saddle River Honor Roll.
